The City of Boston recently launched the Squares + Streets initiative to focus on activity-rich neighborhood centers along main streets across Boston. We encourage all WalkUP followers to complete the initiative’s survey by December 1. We really need safer bicycle corridors to Forest Hills. Having no subway servicing us, crowded busses, horrific traffic at Forest Hills, and a commuter rail that insists on unfairly keeping us Zone 1 rather than 1A (while I can get all the way to Hyde Park as Zone 1), at least being able to get to Forest Hills from Rozzie Center without getting killed on a bike would be helpful. Expedite the path by the MBTA station and/or get a protected lane down Hyde Park Ave.
