JULY 16, 2026: A Vigil Honoring the Life and Impact of Louisa Gag \u2013 and a Call to Action<\/h2>\n

Join the Massachusetts Vision Zero Coalition for a vigil honoring the life of Louisa Gag and calling for immediate, urgent action to create safer streets for all.<\/p>\n

Hear from those who worked and partnered with Louisa about her profound impact as a transportation leader and cherished colleague. Then join us in demanding changes to help prevent further deaths from traffic violence.<\/p>\n

DATE:<\/strong>\u00a0Thursday, July 16, 2026<\/p>\n

TIME:<\/strong>\u00a0Gather at 5:30 p.m.; speaking program starts at 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

WHERE:<\/strong>\u00a0City Hall Plaza, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02203<\/p>\n

If possible, please wear yellow in support of Vision Zero.<\/p>\n

BIKE CONVOYS:<\/strong>\u00a0Groups across the region are planning bike convoys to the vigil. Check back to this page to learn more in the coming days.<\/p>\n
