This area experiences heavy traffic at peak times, impeding bus traffic and thus adding unfairly to the commute time for thousands of mass transit riders. We believe the benefits of reducing bus delay substantially outweigh the very small impact on a handful of parking spots for a small portion of the day, and hope this change can be implemented expeditiously as a small step toward a more sustainable transportation system for the City of Boston.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We further encourage BTD to explore extending the bus lane (both morning inbound and afternoon outbound) further down Washington Street, at least up Metropolitan Hill to West Roxbury Parkway. Finally, Hyde Park Avenue serves another critical Roslindale bus route (#32), and would similarly benefit from a dedicated bus\/bicycle lane.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sincerely,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adam J.
